TORONTO, ON - The Redeemer University men's soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision to the defending OCAA and CCAA National Champion Humber Hawks Wednesday on the road. Humber improves to 2-0-2 while the Royals fall to 1-3 in the OCAA West Division.
15 minutes into the opening half, Humber's Noah McIntyre gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead. At the 42nd minute mark, McInytyre setup Christian Keshishian for his first goal of the campaign. Exosse Kadiebue added to his goal total registering his second and third goals of the regular season adding tallies in the 50th and 90th minutes.
The Royals lone goal came from first year
Mohamed Sesay who registered his first career goal in the 85th minute.
In goal, Redeemer first year starter
Matthew Derks suffered the loss. Humber starter Xhameta Holgar recorded his first victory of the season.
The Royals return to action Friday, September 22nd when they host the St. Clair College Saints at David Mantel Field.
