ANCASTER, ON The Royals welcomed the CCAA #4 nationally ranked Fanshawe Falcons to the Redeemer Athletic Centre Thursday night. The Royals and Falcons are two perennial powerhouse programs in the OCAA that bring fireworks each time they meet. 

Last season the Royals and Falcons met three times, for a total of 13 sets played. Each match was a fierce battle, however, the Falcons soared to victory on all three occasions.

Thursday's clash saw the Falcons display why they are ranked #4 in the country. The Falcons, filled with veteran experience climbed to victory in 3 sets despite a late 3rd set rally by the Royals. 

The Royals host the St. Clair Saints Saturday as they look to bounce back and add another tally to the "W" colum. The Saints are also nationally ranked and present a similar style of play to the Royals.  The Royals and Saints both follow an aggressive serving philosophy.  This match is bound to be filled with aces and heavy swings.
