ANCASTER, ON Redeemer Women's Volleyball faced off against the Fanshawe Falcons Thursday evening. The Fanshawe Falcons are attempting to make a late playoff push to secure an 8th seed while the Royals pursue clinching a home playoff match.
Thursday was all Royals Red and Blue, as Redeemer made quick work in a straight sets victory. Leading the Royals was 3rd year Rachel Annett with 8 kills, 6 aces and a hitting percentage of .300%. Brooklyn Van Rooyen conducting a smooth offense out of the pocket tallying 26 assists.
The Royals are now on a 3 game winning streak and look to extend it as they host the St.Clair Saints on Saturday January 20th at the Redeemer Athletic Centre. The Saints are CCAA nationally ranked #8. Saturday is bound to be a clash of titans.
