Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Fazelipour's 24 Not Enough to Defeat Falcons

LONDON, ON.   Redeemer Men's Basketball was in London on Thursday evening as they looked to climb into the 8th and final playoff spot. Their opponents, the Fanshawe Falcons sat in 5th place with a 9-6 record.

Redeemer held their own through the first quarter as they trailed by five. The Falcons switched into the next gear and rallied away to a 55-33 spread at half. The Royals were not able to close the gap, as Fanshawe marched to a 92-67 victory.

Redeemer's fight was led by Armeen Fazelipour who had a game high 24 points. Fazelipour has been a highlight performer for the Royals in the second half of the season.  Two other Royals tallied double-digit points as Adam Pavlik and Alex Naovarath each notched 10.

Redeemer hosts the Sheridan Bruins Saturday February 3rd at the Redeemer Athletic Centre.
