ANCASTER, ON - Redeemer Royals rookie
Cormac O'Brien made program history this season, becoming the first men's soccer player ever to be named the OCAA Men's Soccer Rookie of the Year.
O'Brien also earned OCAA West Rookie of the Year honours and a spot on the OCAA West All-Rookie Team. A consistent standout throughout the season, he played a key role in the Royals' success on both sides of the ball.
He becomes just the fourth Royal ever to earn an OCAA Rookie of the Year award across any sport and the sixth to receive Divisional Rookie of the Year honours, a remarkable achievement for the first-year midfielder.
Joining O'Brien in conference recognition,
Luca Moras, a second-year midfielder, was named to the OCAA West Second Team, earning the first all-star honour of his collegiate career.
Together, O'Brien and Moras showcase the growing talent and depth within the Redeemer Royals men's soccer program.
