ANCASTER, ON - A native of Belleville, Ontario, Luke Vreugdenhil joins the Royals after graduating from Quinte Christian High School.

 A versatile player capable of playing in both the midfield and defensive positions, he brings a strong developmental background after competing with Belleville Soccer Club, Kingston OPDL, Durham OPDL, and most recently Quinte West Soccer Club.

His experience playing at the OPDL level has helped shape him into a well-rounded player who is ready to take the next step in his soccer journey.

For Vreugdenhil, joining the Royals is an opportunity to represent both his community and his faith.

"I'm excited to represent my community and inspire others. I show God's love through sport by treating everyone with kindness and respect."

As he begins his collegiate career, Vreugdenhil is eager to make an impact beyond the pitch by encouraging teammates and reflecting his faith in everything he does.

"I will use my faith to encourage others, lead by example, and glorify God through my attitude, effort, and sportsmanship both on and off the field."
