WINDSOR, ON - The Redeemer men's basketball team faced a tough outing on the road against the St. Clair Saints, falling 119-61 in a game where several factors worked against the Royals.
The Saints were incredibly efficient offensively, and Redeemer struggled to keep up. Turnovers and a significant rebounding deficit allowed St. Clair to control the pace and flow of the game. Every time the Royals tried to mount a comeback, the Saints capitalized, keeping the pressure on throughout.
Despite the team struggles, there were bright spots for Redeemer.
Parker Davis led the Royals in scoring with 17 points, while rookie
Elijah Onah added 10 points.
Jack Nirula also contributed a strong performance and led the team with eight rebounds, showcasing his effort and skill on the boards.
The Royals will look to regroup and build on these individual efforts as they prepare for their next matchup. The contributions from the team's younger players hint at potential as the season continues.
