Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Bruins Survive Royals Fourth Quarter Comeback

ANCASTER, ON - The Redeemer Royals men's basketball team showed resilience and fight but came up just short in a 68–64 loss to the Sheridan Bruins on home court.

The Royals struggled to find their rhythm early, falling behind as the Bruins built momentum through the first three quarters. Redeemer entered the fourth quarter facing a 14-point deficit and in need of a spark.

That spark came quickly, as the Royals put together a massive run to claw their way back into the contest, cutting the lead to just three with time remaining.

Redeemer dominated the final frame, outscoring Sheridan 22–12 in the fourth quarter and applying consistent pressure on both ends of the floor. Despite multiple key opportunities in the final three minutes to complete the comeback, the Royals were unable to capitalize, allowing the Bruins to hold on for the narrow victory.

Armeen Fazelipour led the way for Redeemer with a strong double-double performance, finishing with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Rookie Elijah Onah also delivered an encouraging outing, scoring a career-high 14 points and providing a boost off the bench for the Royals.
