Royals Extend Winning Steak to Four in 3-1 Win

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON -  The Redeemer Royals women's volleyball team continued their strong play on the road, picking up right where they left off from the night prior with a 3–1 victory over the Sault Cougars in Sault Ste. Marie.

Redeemer came out with confidence, taking control early and building a two-set lead over the Cougars. Just as the Royals appeared comfortable, Sault responded with urgency, dominating the third set in an effort to spark a reverse sweep. The Royals, however, quickly shut down those plans, regaining control in the fourth set and closing out the match.

The win marked Redeemer's second victory in as many days in Sault Ste. Marie and continued an impressive start to the 2026 calendar year. The Royals remain undefeated at 3–0 in 2026 and are now riding a four-match winning streak.

Kate De Jong once again led the way, continuing her impressive senior season with 17 points on the night. Rookie setter Phoebe Sinke also played a key role in the victory, stepping up to tally 22 assists in three sets as Redeemer's offense stayed balanced and efficient.

With momentum on their side, the Royals will look to carry their strong form forward as they continue OCAA play.
