The Redeemer Royals men's volleyball team completed a perfect night in the gym with a straight-set win, defeating their opponent 3–0 in a controlled performance that saw the Royals in command from start to finish.
While the match was tighter than the scoreline might suggest, Redeemer maintained steady control across all three sets. The Royals opened with a 25–21 win in the first set, followed by a 25–22 victory in the second, before pulling away late to close the match 25–16 in the third.
Redeemer's balance and depth were on full display, as the Royals outscored their opponent 54–24 across the match. Caleb Bosveld led the way with 16 points on an efficient .500 hitting percentage, including four service aces that helped swing momentum in key moments. In total, 11 different Royals recorded points, while 14 players saw court time in the sweep.
With the win, Redeemer now turns its attention to a marquee matchup, welcoming the OCAA's top-ranked Cambrian Shield to the Den tomorrow night. First serve is set for 8:00 p.m., and Royals fans are encouraged to pack the Den for what promises to be a high-energy showdown.
