ANCASTER, ON - The Redeemer Royals are excited to announce the signing of Hamilton native Kibrom Kefte, who joins the men's basketball program, bringing experience, scoring ability, and a strong team-first mindset to the court.

Kefte describes himself as a player who values consistency, discipline, and effort on both ends of the floor. His experience at multiple levels of competition has shaped him into a well-rounded guard who understands how to impact the game without forcing action.

"I take pride in being a reliable teammate, bringing energy on both ends, and constantly working to improve my skill set," Kefte shared.

When asked about joining the Redeemer Royals, Kefte emphasized the importance of community and shared values.

"To be around more like-minded people and grow in faith," he said.

That foundation of faith will also play a central role in his approach as a student-athlete at Redeemer. Kefte aims to lead by example through his attitude, work ethic, and treatment of others both on and off the court.

"I plan to use my faith to lead by example through my attitude, work ethic, and how I treat others every day," he said. "I want to positively impact my teammates and community by staying humble, encouraging others, and representing my values."

As he joins the Royals program, Kefte brings not only basketball experience and scoring ability, but also a mindset rooted in growth, leadership, and character, qualities that align closely with the culture of Redeemer University athletics.
