ANCASTER, ON - The Redeemer Royals Men's Basketball team is excited to welcome Hamilton local Luka Pasalic to the RU Royal Family.

A graduate of Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School, Pasalic joins the Royals after a standout high school career and time competing at the club level with Hamilton Elite Basketball. The guard/forward brings versatility, leadership, and a strong competitive mindset to the Royals lineup.

During his time with Bishop Tonnos, Pasalic earned multiple team accolades, being named MVP in 2023, 2025, and 2026. He also served as team captain during the 2025 and 2026 seasons, showcasing his ability to lead both on and off the court.

Pasalic was recognized as a Hamilton Catholic All-Star in 2024, 2025, and 2026, while also earning All-Star honours with Hamilton Elite at the Cedar Point Sports event and serving as captain during the 2026 season. Throughout his development, he has also competed with Oxford Attack Basketball and Ancaster Magic Basketball.

When asked what excites him most about joining Redeemer, Pasalic highlighted the sense of community that surrounds the Royals.
"It feels like one true community."

As a student-athlete, Pasalic also sees his faith as an important part of his journey at Redeemer.
"I will use my faith to influence all my decisions in what I do both on and off the court."
