What made you begin playing your sport? How old were you?
I began playing this sport in high school, about 14 years old, after I stopped doing gymnastics. At first it was something to keep me active, but after I played my first game I never looked back.

Who is the most influential person in your life? 
My parents, they came to Canada with very little and aspired to give me everything. They have succeeded in doing this because I know I would not be where I am today without them, both in my academics and athletics.

What is the most important lesson you have learned from being a student-athlete at Redeemer University? 
Patience is definitely a virtue. Even during this time of COVID-19, it is important to be patient with staff, professors, teammates, coaches and others who are doing their best to make the student-athlete experience memorable and enjoyable.

Do you have any pre game rituals? 
I listen to a few songs from the Hola playlist created by Melissa Humana-Paredes (Team Canada Beach Volleyball player) and then say a short prayer for a great game.

What would people be surprised to learn about you? 
I really enjoy playing the piano in my free time.

Go on a Machu Picchu Alpaca expedition

Dancing Queen - ABBA

If you could meet any person, dead or alive, who would it be? Why?
I would like to meet Jesus to ask him about his life story. Many have not seen His powers, it would be amazing to see a miracle first-hand and I would like to ask Him about his life in heaven.
