What made you begin playing your sport? How old were you?
I started playing volleyball in middle school when I was 11. I played just about every sport at school, but then I decided to make volleyball a bigger focus when I started playing club at age 13.
Who is the most influential person in your life?
My mom, because she always has a good idea when I come to her with any problem.
What is the most important lesson you have learned from being a student-athlete at Redeemer?
To leave some time for things that aren’t sports or academics to hang out with friends and rest.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Nap time :)
Favourite meal?
Tacos.
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
When I was little, I was right-handed!
What is your favourite movie?
Anything new that I haven’t seen yet.
What is something on your bucket list?
I’ve always wanted to go to Mexico to visit my friend.
If you could meet any person, dead or alive, who would it be? Why?
I would love to meet Penny Oleksiak, because swimming is my second favourite sport. With 7 medals, she is Canada’s most decorated Olympian.
