Leah Sloots

    Assistant to the Head Coach

Sloots made the transition from athlete to assistant coach for the Royals in September 2025, after playing for the team from 2021 to 2025.

During her four years as a student-athlete, she served as team captain for two seasons and was the recipient of the Vertical Purpose Award and was named Rookie of the Year in her debut season. The Royals women’s soccer team climbed the standings and captured the OCAA West Division Championship during her playing career. Before Redeemer, Sloots competed at the regional level with West Ottawa Soccer Club.

Sloots graduated from Redeemer in 2025 and, alongside her coaching role, is eager to mentor current players in their athletic, academic, and personal growth, while continuing to foster the supportive and faith-driven culture of the Royals soccer program.
