Men's and Women's Volleyball home games kick off a very busy week for Redeemer Royal teams. The Volleyball teams take to the court tonight at 6pm and 8pm against the Niagara Knights and play one of two games this week. The Redeemer Basketball teams, Badminton team, and Indoor Soccer teams will all see action this week as well.
The other volleyball game is set for Friday at 6pm and 8pm against the Nationally ranked Humber Hawks. Redeemer will welcome the Hawks on Friday on a night where the Athletic Department will be recognizing the 2011-2012 graduating athletes from the volleyball teams. The graduating athletes are Women's Volleyball player

Christian Vandergeest. There will be a short presentation to them before the Men's game tips off at 8pm. Women's Volleyball player Erika Straatsma is just 17 points away from breaking the Redeemer Career Points Record and will be looking to do it at home over the next two final home games of the season.
The road to the OCAA Badminton Provincial Championships begins this weekend as the Redeemer Badminton team makes their way to Humber College on Friday and Saturday for the Regional Championships. The top 3 individuals in each discipline will qualify for the OCAA Championships being held at Redeemer on February 17-18.
The Indoor Soccer teams will have home turf advantage when Redeemer hosts the Royal Cup Indoor Soccer tournament this Saturday at the new soccer complex on campus. The tournament is made up of 8 men's and 8 women's OCAA indoor soccer teams and will run all day until a winner is declared in the Gold medal games.
The Basketball teams will also play home games this weekend as they take the court against the Humber Hawks on Saturday at 2pm and 4pm. The graduating athletes from the basketball teams will be recognized at their final home game of the season on Saturday February 11th.
