The #1 team in Canada showed up on Friday night at Redeemer University College ready to play as the Sheridan Bruins defeated the Redeemer Royals 114-82. The Royals set the tone early but as the game wore on, the Bruins displayed why they are the team to beat.

The Royals came out ready to play and eager to see how they stacked up against Sheridan. Redeemer went up 21-15 late in the 1st quarter. However, the Bruins went on an 11-2 run to finish out the 1st frame, taking back control of the match. From there, it was an offensive shootout as both teams were firing at will. Sheridan finished the game with 94 shots attempted while Redeemer ended with 59.

AJ Manguerra led all scorers with 17 points while Calvin Turnbull added 16.

Paul Williams had 17 points for the 8-0 Sheridan Bruins.

Redeemer now enters the break with a record of 4-5, still very much alive in the playoff hunt.
