Another match is in the books for the Lady Royals who came out on the right side of a 5 set thriller on Saturday afternoon in Windsor. The Lady Royals won their 2nd 5 set match in a row and their 3rd in 6 games. Redeemer defeated the St. Clair Saints by the slimest of margins and now are 3-1 in contests that go to a final deciding set.
The Lady Royals improve their record to 4-2 and currently sit tied for 2nd place in the OCAA West. Set scores were 26-24, 21-25, 14-25, 25-19, 15-12.

Kimberly Stewart (Hope, BC) had another stellar outing with 43 assists. Stewart sits in 1st place in the OCAA in total assists.
Curtiss Straatsma (Brampton, ON) also continued her torrid pace with another 22 points from 17 kills, 4 aces, and a block.
Mary Christiaanse (Trenton, ON) and
Charlene De Vries (London, ON) also hit double-digit points for Redeemer with 16 and 13 respectively.
Both Volleyball teams will now have the week to prepare for the Mohawk Mountaineers who will make the short distance to Redeemer on Friday. In one of the most anticipated nights of the year on the Royals calendar, Redeemer will look to come away with a pair of victories against their rival neighbours.Â
