While the Men's Volleyball team continues to be a medal contendor heading into the 2014-2015 season, much of this years focus will be directed towards the women's program. Hosting the OCAA Provincial Championships this February and coming off of one of the best seasons in program history, the Lady Royals enter the season with high hopes. With both programs not wanting to be outdone by the other, 2014-2015 will certainly be a season to remember for Redeemer Royals volleyball.

th OCAA medal in the past 6 years.

The 2013-14 season ended at the hands of Trent University in the Bronze Medal match which serves as reminder of what they are able to accomplish as well as how disappointed they were to fall short of a medal. Brad Douwes takes over for the reigning Coach of the Year, Doug Veldman, and his goal is to push the team at least one step further this year. Winning a medal would be the first in OCAA Division One history for the women, and would be that much more special as Redeemer is the host of the OCAA Championships this February. Led by All-Stars Curtiss Straatsma and Charlene DeVries, the team returns with a balanced squad. Freshman Bultje will have an opportunity to break into the lineup, but the competition will be fierce with talent at every position.  Jocelyn Klompmaker and Kim Stewart return to a strong offensive unit with size all over the floor.

Schedule Notes
Home opener is against reigning Champions, Humber Hawks on October 31
st. The Royals get their first crack at Fanshawe on November 21
st as they attempt to secure a top two position ahead of last season's Silver medalists.
