ANCASTER, ON - Redeemer Royals men's volleyball is celebrating a strong showing on the national stage, highlighted by four individual honours from the NCCAA.
Leading the way is
Jeramiah Zomerman, who was named an NCCAA First Team All-American. Zomerman's recognition places him among the top players in the NCCAA. His performance was a key factor in the Royals' success and visibility at the national level.
At the NCCAA National Championships,
Jack Demik and
Andrew Walcott were both recognized for their outstanding play, earning spots on the NCCAA National Championship All-Tournament Team. Demik, a middle blocker, was a dominant presence at the net. Walcott, serving as libero, anchored the Royals defensively, playing a crucial role in keeping the team competitive at the Championships.Â
In addition to on-court excellence,
Alan Greydanus was honoured for his achievements in the classroom, being named an NCCAA Division I Men's Volleyball Scholar-Athlete. This award recognizes student-athletes who excel academically while competing at a high level, highlighting Greydanus' commitment to both his studies and his sport.
These four awards reflect the well-rounded strength of the Royals program, showcasing excellence in performance, championship play, and academic achievement.
