The Royals dropped their second consecutive match to start the 2018-2019 season by way of a 5-0 loss to the Fanshawe Falcons. Despite the scoreline, the Royals gave the top-ranked Falcons all they could handle, conceding three goals late, in what was up until that point, a close match.
With the loss, the Royals open the season with 2 losses and sit tied for fourth in the OCAA West.
Redeemer will look to rebound Saturday when they face off against their rival, the Mohawk Mountaineers. Redeemer takes the field at 2pm at Redeemer University College.
