Grasman Records First Win as Royals Head Coach in Straight Sets Victory Over Bruins

ANCASTER, ON. The Sheridan Bruins hosted Redeemer Volleyball on Saturday afternoon. The Royals have a week-long break following their season opener at Niagara College. Head Coach Kate Grasman entered the weekend in search of her first win as coach of the Royals.

Saturday's action kicked off in favour of the Royals. Redeemer took a commanding set one victory 25-13 with a monstrous .556 hitting percentage. The Royals carried their dominant performance into the second set and won 25-7.

Leading the Bruins 2-0 the Royals looked to cruise to a straight-set victory, however, the Bruins were not going down without a fight. The Bruins regrouped and pushed the Royals in the third set. Despite the Bruins valiant effort, the Royals were able to secure the third and final set 25-19.
