ANCASTER, ON. It was 'Movember Support Night' at the Redeemer Athletic Centre Friday evening as the Royals Men's Volleyball team hosted the Sheridan Bruins. Redeemer (2-5) lost 3-1 last time out against the Sheridan Bruins (3-5). Sheridan is 0-2 on the road this season and entered one of the toughest gyms in the OCAA, attempting to snap that streak. Redeemer has seen significant improvement in their play since the start of the season and was equipped to change the outcome against the Bruins in round two.

Davis Young who recorded six of his own.Â
Set one went in favour of the Royals. Sheridan bounced back in set two and levelled the score 1-1.
Redeemer was unphased and was able to continue building on their early success. Service runs from

Caleb Joosse stepped to the line and served a set-winning ace. Redeemer led 2-1 entering the fourth set.
Davis Young led the Royals to a 6-0 lead to open the fourth set, forcing Sheridan to burn an early timeout. The Bruins were able to chip away at the Redeemer lead and had the score levelled at 20. Redeemer and Sheridan traded missed serves to 25-all. Redeemer was able to score and put themselves to match point.
Jared Prinsloo was the hero in the fourth set as he made a massive game-winning stuff block to secure the Royals victory.
