BUFFALO, NY - The Royals wrapped up their weekend trip to Buffalo in dominant fashion on Saturday night, shutting out Buffalo State 4–0 to complete the sweep in the season series. After defeating the Bengals 7–3 at home the week prior, Redeemer carried that momentum across the border and set the tone early.
Redeemer struck twice in the opening five minutes, immediately taking control of the game.
Tucker Copeland opened the scoring, finishing a setup from
Ethan Selvaratnam and
Jake Voskamp. Just minutes later,
Dawson Abrahams doubled the lead with another quick strike, assisted once again by Selvaratnam, who posted multi-point contributions in the opening frame.
The Royals added to their cushion in the second period when Ty Store buried Redeemer's third goal of the night, with Abrahams picking up the primary assist. Abrahams continued his standout performance in the third, sealing the win with a late insurance marker, his third point of the evening, off a feed from
Asher Cabral.
In net,
Carson Murison delivered one of his finest performances of the season. The Royals goaltender stopped all 33 shots he faced, earning his first shutout of the year and anchoring a disciplined defensive effort.
It was another strong showing from Redeemer's top line, with Abrahams leading the way. His three-point night further solidifies his role as a key contributor in the Royals' early-season success.
