STONEY CREEK, ON - The Redeemer Royals capped off their first semester in impressive fashion on Friday night, rolling to a 6–2 victory over the University at Buffalo Bulls (ACHA DII). The win brings Redeemer to 4–6 heading into the holiday break and sends the team into the new year with positive momentum.

Redeemer wasted no time taking control of the game, delivering one of their strongest opening periods of the semester. The Royals struck three times in the first frame, starting with Jax Ackland's opener six minutes into the contest. Redeemer continued to press, generating consistent pressure and capitalizing on their chances to build a 3–0 lead before intermission.

Both teams tightened up defensively in the second period, resulting in 20 minutes of scoreless hockey. Buffalo finally broke through early in the third, trimming the Royals' lead to 3–1 and threatening to swing the momentum.

Redeemer responded with authority.

The Royals erupted for three goals in quick succession to restore full control of the game, squashing Buffalo's comeback hopes. The Bulls added one more shortly afterward, but Redeemer's earlier surge ensured the scoreline stayed firmly in their favour the rest of the way.

Redeemer heads into the break with a win and will look to continue their late form in the new year.
