Women's Disc Golf Posts Second Straight Under Par Round

ROCKHILL, SC. - Redeemer Disc Golf completed their third day of competition at the College Disc Golf National Championship. The men's A team got off to another slow start on the course.

Their second team round was played at Camp Canaan. The new course proved to be a difficult challenge for the Royals who struggled to score early. The A team was +1 through twelve holes but managed to turn it around rallying off five birdies in six holes to finish -4. The Royals A team unfortunately fell down the leaderboard to T-11 with one round to play. Redeemer is only four strokes out of fourth place and will look to climb into the top five tomorrow with a strong round at Camp Canaan.

Redeemer's Women's team had another outstanding day on the course. The duo of Sikema and Don shot their second straight round under par (-3). The Royals women find themselves in twelfth place entering the final day only one stroke out of the top ten.

The Royals men's B team played their first round at the world-famous Winthrop course. The team round was not the outcome that they had hoped for. Entering the day the Royals were in the heart of the field looking to climb the standings. Redeemer had an uneventful round shooting even par. The B team has one round remaining tomorrow and hopes to make one final push up the leaderboards.
