ANCASTER, ON - The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) has officially released the 2025–2026 volleyball schedules. The Redeemer Royals will once again compete in the OCAA West Division, with regular season play set to begin this fall. The Royals home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, when they host the Sheridan Bruins. The evening will also mark the team's annual Pink Night in support of breast cancer awareness.

Women's Volleyball
The Royals Women's Volleyball team enters its second season under head coach Kate Grasman following an 8-10 regular season in 2024-2025. The team advanced to the OCAA quarter-finals and looks to build on last year's playoff push.

Key matchups this season include:

• Saturday, October 25 – at St. Clair Saints
  A tough early test. The Saints were the OCAA silver medalists last season and are perennial contenders in the West. Redeemer will look to make a statement on the road.

• Friday & Saturday, January 16–17 – at Sault Cougars
  Sault is set to make its debut in the OCAA this season. The Royals will head north for a rare two-game road trip against the new program in back-to-back matches.

Men's Volleyball
The Royals Men's Volleyball team returns following a solid 2024-2025 campaign that ended with a 3-1 quarter-final loss to the Fanshawe Falcons. The program enters a new era this fall, with a new head coach to be announced after the departure of five year head coach Eli Tolkamp.

Featured matchups include:

• Saturday, October 18 – at Mohawk Mountaineers
  A rivalry opener. Redeemer will kick off the season on the road against cross-town rival Mohawk, aiming to start strong with a statement win.

• Friday, November 21 – vs Niagara Knights
  A pivotal matchup. The Royals and Knights have been evenly matched in recent years, but Niagara has had the edge in recent contests. A win here could prove critical for playoff positioning.
