Alana, directing the Royals offense, has been equally impressive. She has recorded 174 assists so far, ranking seventh in the OCAA, and is averaging 7.25 assists per set, good for eighth in the conference. Her defensive work has also stood out. She has collected 65 digs, ranking sixteenth in the OCAA, and is averaging 2.71 digs per set, strong numbers for a setter.Â
Alana has also contributed 13 aces, adding pressure from the service line.
The early-season production from both players has been central to the Royals momentum, and their All-Region recognition reflects the impact they have made.
Redeemer is coming off a major win over the Niagara Knights and now sits at 4-2, holding fifth place in the OCAA West. The Royals are poised for a significant weekend in Sudbury as they take on Cambrian, 4-3, and Boreal, 0-8. Two wins would move them into a three-way tie for third place in the division and push their record to 6-2, setting the stage for an exciting stretch leading into the winter break.
