ANCASTER, ON - The Redeemer Royals Men's Soccer program is excited to welcome Isaac Hagen to the program.

Hagen has played soccer his entire life, beginning at a young age developing with the West Hamilton Warriors. He also enjoyed success at the high school level, representing his school at OFSAA. During his high school career, Hagen finished as his school's leading goal scorer and helped his team to a successful season.

For Hagen, the opportunity to be part of a Christ-centred athletic community made Redeemer the right choice.

"The Christian culture and the opportunity to glorify God with the gifts and talents He has given me. To share it with a great group of Godly men who strive to get better every day in the sport of soccer but with the ultimate goal to glorify God in all that we do is something very special to me, and I am looking forward to being on this journey."

As he begins his journey with the Royals, Hagen hopes to use his faith as the foundation of his experience as a student-athlete.

"By putting God above all else in every situation. I have been surrounded by wonderful Christian coaches who have taught me what it means to incorporate faith into sports and what it means to give God all glory and praise. Our team strives to get better at the sport we all know and love, but the ultimate goal is to make sure we are all doing it for the glory of God. Through wins or losses, God remains the same and is deserving of praise and glory. Holding this as my foundation will help impact my time as a Redeemer student-athlete."

The Redeemer Royals are excited to welcome Isaac to the Men's Soccer program and look forward to seeing him grow as a student-athlete both on the field and in the classroom.
