Hall of Fame
Heidbuurt made his mark as a dominant presence on the court, becoming a two-time OCAA First-Team All-Star and a two-time OCAA Tournament All-Star. Over his career, he established himself as Redeemer's all-time leader in points (920), blocks (139), and kills (727), while ranking second all-time in aces (47). He also set single-season and single-game standards that still stand today, including 329 points and 267 kills in one season, as well as a record-setting 29 kills and 33 points in a single match.
Heidbuurt's story is more than statistics. During his time at Redeemer, he was a standout student who modelled the Royals' balance of academics, athletics, and faith.Â
Heidbuurt's induction highlights not only his extraordinary career on the court but also his ongoing influence as a leader, mentor, and servant in his community.
