The Lady Royals take the court at home on Saturday in an 'all or nothing' matchup against the Algonquin Thunder. The winner advances to the OCAA Provincial Championships while the loser's season comes to an end.
The Royals enter the contest with an impressive 12-5 record (with one game remaining on Wednesday night) while the Thunder sit at 9-9. This will be the second year in a row that Redeemer has hosted the Algonquin Thunder in a home playoff match.
The match gets underway at 1pm on Saturday while the 2013-2014 OCAA Provincial Championships kick off on February 20th at Durham College.
The Men's team finds themselves in the same situation but away from home. The Royals will travel to George Brown for a 1pm game with the same implications. The winner will advance to the OCAA Provincial Championships February 20-22, 2014 at Georgian College.
The Royals sit with a record of 10-7 (with one game remaining on Wednesday night) while the Huskies are at 12-5 with one game remaining.
