ANCASTER, ON - The Redeemer Men's Volleyball team secures three more athletes to add to the 2024-2025 recruiting class. 

Jeramiah Zomerman joins the Royals from Dresden, ON. The high-flying outside hitter will graduate from Chatham Christian High School this June.  Zomerman shared how he hopes to use his faith while playing at Redeemer "Playing for God, not for myself, everything is given to Him and my gifts are from Him, so in the end everything that I should do is to glorify Him". Jeramiah is a versatile athlete who has received the Chatham Christian High School Athletic Award for three years. Additionally, Zomerman has qualified for OFSAA in high jump, triple jump and long jump three times. The Royals look forward to supporting Jeramiah in his growth at Redeemer. 

Seth MacNeil comes to the Royals from Chatham, ON. MacNeil attends Chatham Kent Secondary School and plays for the Chatham Ballhawks 18u. The middle blocker started playing volleyball in grade eleven and has quickly excelled to become a bright young talent. MacNeil shared that his faith will direct good sportsmanship, healthy leadership and a humble attitude. 

Rounding out the most recent signings for Redeemer Men's Volleyball is Caleb Bosveld. Bosveld transfers to the Royals from Truett McConnell University. The outside hitter has deep connections to Redeemer. Caleb shared "Since I was a little kid, it's always been my dream to play volleyball at Redeemer. Redeemer is home to me - both my parents are alumni, and I grew up attending Royals games." Bosveld continued, by sharing how he looks forward to growing in his faith with the Royals "I'm excited to be part of a community that puts Christ first in everything. The opportunity to continue to grow my faith surrounded by like-minded individuals is very important to me, and I will continue to strive to glorify Christ in all I do."
