ANCASTER, ON - The Redeemer Royals are excited to welcome
Bright Boateng to the men's basketball program for the upcoming season.
Boateng brings a strong basketball background that has taken him across both Canada and the United States. After spending his early years playing in both countries, his game took a significant step forward during his high school and prep career.
For Boateng, joining Redeemer is about competing in an environment that will challenge him while helping him continue to grow.
"What excites me the most about being a part of the Royal Family was the opportunity to compete at a high level and be part of a program with a strong culture and a group of guys who are committed to getting better everyday. After connecting with the coaching staff and learning more about the team, I felt like Redeemer was a place I could continue to grow both as a player and as a person. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to represent Redeemer. I'm coming in hungry, I'm confident in my game and ready to prove myself everyday both on and off the court. I'm super excited for what's ahead and for the chance to grow alongside a great group of people."
Faith will also remain at the centre of Boateng's journey as he begins his university career.
"My faith plays a huge role in my life. It helps shape the way I approach the game and life every day. It reminds me to stay grounded, work hard, and be grateful for the opportunities I've been given. As a student-athlete, I understand that successes and setbacks happen all the time, so my faith in God helps me keep the right perspective and stay in the right direction."
The Royals are excited to welcome Bright to the program and look forward to seeing his impact on and off the court as he begins his career at Redeemer.
