ANCASTER, ON -   The Redeemer Royals Men's Basketball team has announced the signing of Hamilton, Ontario point guard Kevahn Taylor.

Taylor joins the Royals after spending two years playing at the University of King's College. The St. Jean de Brébeuf graduate will bring his experience at the post-secondary level to the Royals as he continues his basketball career at Redeemer.

As a point guard, Taylor will join the Royals looking to contribute to the program while becoming part of a new team environment.

When asked what excites him most about joining the Royal Family, Taylor pointed to the atmosphere surrounding the program.

"The environment and the energy."

Taylor also shared how he plans to approach his time at Redeemer as a student-athlete, emphasizing humility and continued growth in his faith

"I'll just try to walk with God on my shoulders, remembering to stay humble and continue to grow."

Taylor now joins the Royals as they prepare for the upcoming season, bringing two years of university basketball experience to the program.
